If you’re interested in using design and technology to solve problems and create engaging experiences, our interdisciplinary master’s program in Emerging Media Design & Development could be the right graduate degree for you.
The Center for EMDD will hold an information session on Tuesday, Feb. 20 from 5:30-7 p.m. (Central), at 1871 in Chicago about its on-campus and low-residency delivery options.
Students and working professionals from both creative backgrounds (English, journalism, theater, graphic design, photography, TV/film) and technology backgrounds (computer science, Web design, animation) come together at the Center for EMDD to tell stories through screens, books, kiosks, stages, and even at live events.
What sets our program apart is that it’s a hands-on, practical experience built around research and application. Our students are working with real community partners (including the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Circle of Blue, and Professor Garfield) to create immersive, interactive story experiences that solve real-world problems. Our grads know how to create stories for the 21st-century marketplace.
